Covid-19

Person Getting their temperature taken

Covid-19

our dedication to

your health

Our doctors and team members are committed to providing all of our patients with the best patient care possible. It's important to us that you feel confident visiting our office, knowing we have revisited every step of your visit with your safety and that of our medical team in mind. We will continue to evaluate new regulations as they emerge to ensure compliance with the latest guidance from the CDC, state and local authorities, and the Optometric Physicians of Washington.

What we're doing differently

We have adjusted our schedule to reduce the number of people in the office at one time. Our physicians have reduced the number of patients per day in order to comply with state guidelines on occupancy and social distancing. This is best for all patients and employees, regardless of age or risk level as it reduces interaction in every hour we are open.

All our doctors and team members are required to take their temperature and report any COVID-19 related symptoms prior to working every day. All employees will sanitize hands and wear approved PPE regardless of their role in patient care.

What to expect during your visit

All equipment or tools used throughout the pre-testing process and while in the exam room will be disinfected between every patient. For those picking out new eyeglasses, know we've put a lot of thought into the new process of choosing, styling and fitting your eyewear.

Each patient will be asked to sit in our frame dispensary and sanitize their hands. Our opticians will offer a conceirge service, bringing frames to you to try on. Any frames touched by you or the optical staff will be set aside in a designated bin for disinfection prior to returning to the frame board.

Prior to your appointment

All of our patient forms, found under the Patient Center tab above, have been put online for your convenience. Filling these out prior to your appointment reduces the surfaces each person is touching throughout the day. If you are unable to fill out these forms before your appointment, we will provide you with a pen that has been disinfected between every use. Our front desk staff will discard that pen into a designated bin for disinfection prior to its use by anyone else.

Please limit the people accompanying you to your appointment to one other person. We ask all patients and anyone accompanying a patient to bring their own face mask and wear it up over their nose and under their chin throughout the duration of the visit. Masks do not need to be placed on children under the age of 2. If a patient or their guest chooses not to wear a mask, he or she may be asked to reschedule their appointment to a future date.

When you arrive at our clinic, our doors may be locked to ensure everything is disinfected between patients leaving and arriving. A team member will meet you at the door to start the check-in process. All services provided by our clinic are by appointment only.

when picking up your new glasses

We are requiring an appointment to pickup eyewear at this time so we can prepare for your arrival. We are doing our best to provide curbside dispensing, especially if occupancy limits do not allow entry.

We will also ship any pair of eyeglasses to patients who are unable to visit us in person. Any product we dispense to you will be disinfected and ready to wear.

We are looking forward to seeing you again soon!
